VERTICAL WORK LIFELINE | LUX-TOP PRODUCTS
There are solutions certified and approved by law that guarantee the safety of operators. All the LUX-top products that RodriguezROS installs are made of stainless steel in qualities AISI 316 in the cable and AISI 304 in the supports and accessories. They are suitable for use in the marine environment and are certified by the prestigious European quality institute DEKRA. These systems are manufactured in Luxembourg and have been created to guarantee safe work at height with personal protective equipment (PPE). LUX-top systems comply with current UNE regulations in the field of occupational risk prevention. UNE-EN795. LUX-top has several patents for the safest and most aesthetic systems on the market. FSA 2003 is a benchmark in rehabilitation works for this reason. RodriguezROS, installer of the LUX-top lifeline, has solved from the factory the waterproofing systems for the fixings of the lifelines. In this way we avoid problems of water filtrations in the different supports where they are installed.

INSTALLATION OF LIFELINES AND FOLDING RAILS IN PHOTOVOLTAIC AREAS OR WITH SOLAR PANELS
From Rodriguez Ros we also take care of the installation of anti-fall systems such as lifelines in photovoltaic installations and with solar panels. We also make use of safety handrails for safety at height. This type of railings are special for surfaces with solar panels as they are folding railings, thus avoiding the loss of power due to the shade.
We install fall arrest systems and offer integral solutions in security systems as one of the leading vertical work companies in Andalusia, in cities such as Malaga, Cordoba, Seville, Granada … We carry out the planning, the assembly of life lines for work at heights and maintenance in all processes. Important when the safety and life of people is at stake in Malaga and Andalusia. Different systems can be installed: lifeline or lifelines EN-795 class C, anchor points ENE-795 class A and B, lifelines by rail EN 795 class D.
The life lines can be defined as a protection system that enables the transit, permanence or performance of work in areas where there is a risk of falls from height taking as a reference to define “height” the law 31/95 on Prevention of Occupational Risks, R.D. 486/97 on Workplaces and RD 1627/97 on construction works. The lifeline is a fall arrest system that guarantees safety in the vertical works of the user correctly connected to them by means of individual protection equipment (EPIS): harness, anchorage ropes (with the option of blockers that allow the use of ropes of different lengths), lifeline, carabiners or connectors and energy absorbers or, failing that, dynamic anchorage ropes. The regulation of the lifeline is regulated by UNE 795, which indicates different types of lifelines and anchors as well as the minimum resistance that these systems must have in order to pass the homologation criterion.
The Spanish Royal Decree 486/1997, which establishes the minimum safety and health requirements for workplaces, determines the height from which it is necessary to use protective equipment. Performing work at a height greater than 2.0 meters (H)
TYPES OF LIFELINES
TYPE A1: ANCHORING DEVICES DESIGNED TO BE FIXED ON VERTICAL, HORIZONTAL OR INCLINED SURFACES. HORIZONTAL LIFELINE AND VERTICAL LIFELINE.
TYPE A2: STRUCTURAL ANCHORS TO BE FIXED ON INCLINED ROOFS.
TYPE B: PROVISIONAL AND TRANSPORTABLE ANCHORING DEVICES.
TYPE C: HORIZONTAL FLEXIBLE ANCHOR LINES. HORIZONTAL LIFELINE.
TYPE D: HORIZONTAL RIGID ANCHOR RAILS. HORIZONTAL LIFELINE.
Description lifeline with horizontal rail:
•Fall prevention device sliding on Class D rigid anchorage line according to UNE EN 795
•Protection against falls.
•Possibility of using a retractable fall arrest device.
•Great flexibility and adaptation to the shape of the building, thanks to the curved parts.
•Max. number of users: 6 persons per device, 2 persons per section, 1 person per trolley.
Number of users, max.: 2 persons per device, 1 person per trolley.
•Mounting distance: max. 1.75 m
•Min. 3 supports per device and one support per track section.
•The rail must be mounted vertically. (90° from horizontal position)
Foldable safety rails offer the facility to be dismantled or folded down only if necessary. In this way, on roofs with solar panel installations, they will not lose any accumulated voltage and will only be folded down if necessary.
It is a necessity that in the installation of photovoltaic panels the safety railings have the possibility of folding to make the most of the power of the installed panels. At Rodriguez Ros we trust in LuxTop safety railings.

• Devices designed for use by several users must comply with a Technical Specification, CEN/TS 16415 The standard states that to avoid possible errors of use, anchor devices designed for restraint systems must be tested for fall arrest conditions (fall arrest) The anchors permanently fixed to the structure are considered parts of it and therefore fall outside the scope of the standard (can not be CE marked). However, they can be tested according to EN 795 Static resistance requirements range from 10 kN to 12 kN for metallic devices and from 10 to 18 kN for textile devices Cable terminals closed with bolts are not accepted by the new standard. All LUX-top systems have been tested and approved by DEKRA!
