HOW DOES IT WORK?
- A low-temperature cooling fluid circulates inside of the thermodynamic panel. Said fluid captures the solar radiation striking the panel as well as the existing environmental energy. The difference in temperature caused by external agents such as the sun, rain or wind guarantees the evaporation of the fluid.
- The compressor sucks in this hot gas and compresses it, raising its temperature and pressure.
- The fluid then enters the condenser, which consists of a coil that surrounds the tank (food safety) where the energy is transmitted from the fluid to the water inside.
- At high pressures and after having yielded a large portion of its heat to the condenser, the cooling fluid reaches the expansion valve again but in liquid state. Here it undergoes a reduction in pressure, which causes the fluid to be in the optiomal condition for re-entering the panels.
THE EQUIPMENT’S COMPRESSOR ONLY USES ELECTRICITY WHEN A CONSIDERABLE HOT WATER DEMAND IS REQUIRED FOR LOWERING THE PROGRAMMED TEMPERATURE OF THE TANK, WHICH IS BASICALLY WHENEVER WE USE THE HOT WATER IN OUR HOME. THE REST OF THE TIME WATER IS KEPT WARM INSIDE THANKS TO THE SPECIAL INSULATION COVERING IT.
THE THERMBOIL meets the sepcifications required by the Building Technical Code with respect to energy efficiency and is certitifed to the European EN 16147 standard, as certified by an independent external laboratory.
