Procedure:

 

How to waterproof garden with Sika polyurethane membrane.

1- Removal of soil from the planters
2- High-pressure washing-peeling
3- Leveling SIKA LEVEL 66
4- Installation of SIKADUR COMBIFLEX system in joints between gardeners and expansion joints. Opening and cleaning of joints. Introduction of SIKA JUNTA FUND, application of SIKAFLEX 11 FC to saturation. Installation of SIKADUR COMBIFLEX band adhered to the support with two-component epoxy resin SIKADUR 31 CF.
5- Application of waterproofing system SIKAROOF MTC 12 in 1.3 mm. Composed by: SIKALASTIC CONCRETE PRIMER + SIKALASTIC 601 BC + SIKA REEMAT STANDARD + SIKALASTIC 621 TC. ANTI-ROOT CERTIFICATE:
Phase 1: Check with TRAMEX the humidity of the substrate (not exceeding 4%) and of the dew point according to the technical specifications of the product.
Phase 2: Application of SIKALASTIC CONCRETE PRIMER (consumption 0.5 Kg/m2) which is a two-component, fast curing, solvent-based polyurea primer.
Phase 3: Application of SIKALASTIC 601 BC, base layer for waterproofing roofs and planters in thickness 1.00 Kg/m2 + SIKA REEMAT STANDARD dense fiberglass mesh, soaked with sikalastic 601.
Phase 4: To finish application of SIKALASTIC 621 TC, sealing layer for waterproofing roofs and planters in thickness 1.00 Kg/m2. Both products are special liquid membranes with high performance and great versatility that guarantee the waterproofing of roofs and planters.
6- 48-hour watertightness test
7- Installation of SIKA GEOTEX PP 300 geotextile as a protection layer for heavy roofs on the waterproofing system.
8- Installation of automatic irrigation system.
9- Replacement of soil and plants.
